Boat parade-wattage for a string of Christmas lights?

Gettin the boat ready for our local Christmas boat parade
Any est. on what the wattage is for a string of Christmas lights?
Would like to size an inverter.
or anybody have any other idea's for powering lights on a boat

I think a generator is one way to go with a bunch of power strips and a fire extinguisher ready  :wink:   Seriously I think it would work - definitely go with LEDs though.

Our boat parade was last weekend.  I ran 3500 regular lights off the generator on a single 15A circuit.  I  think the mini-lights use about 40 watts per 100 lights.  Looked purdy - even the Admiral liked it!    :santa:
