Your thoughts on pump plumbing...

I'm a little late to the game with my response, but my 2004 215 DC Osprey Sport has a T fitting on the hoses to both fish lockers. (no diverter) and it works great.

Did it come from the factory like that or did you or PO remove the Y valve?  Also, what make/model pump is draining those fishwells?

sorry I didn't respond sooner.  The brand is a SureFlo macerator pump and the model ... well, I will have to write it down next time I'm on the boat.  It came from West Marine and was about $ 150 ish.

    That pump is a SHURflo model # 1936335, page 498 in the 2011 West Marine catalog.  I had to fabricate hose adapters onto the inlet side of the pump - actually both inlet and outlet, but he outlet was easy.

    On the inlet side I had to take the Dremmel to remove the threaded portion of the pump housing, then inserted two consecutively smaller plastic hose adapters, so that I could plug and clamp the plumbing back onto the pump.  

   As mentioned earlier, it all works famously !!

Yes, the pump was stock. I just replaced it with the same unit: JABSCO Part #: 18590-2092

Thanks for the info.  So it came stock with a macerator pump, that is cool.  I had to upgrade, and am happy I did.  

As far as an exciting backstory for the name Skyliner, geez, that has so much potential.  We have all heard that famous Chinese expression "May you live in interesting times".   I can roll with that OK...

However, when I am flying on a friggin' Skyliner, be it 747, AirBus(t), Dreamliner (yea, baby), or AeroFlot(oh lord) all I want is to get from point A to point B without anything interesting happening.
