Install doesn't look bad but how long does it take to remove the old rusted components?  Also curious on what methods you guys used.  Is penetrating oil and a breaker bar enough or did you have to use a torch and heat up the nuts?  Or did you even have to cut some bolts?

I just did my brakes recently and the most time consuming and annoying part was removing the old rusted components so that's why I ask!

Required Tools: RBFH, Sawsall with top quality Bi-metal blades, Oxy-Acetalene rig is nice if you have ne or can get your hands on it.  Oh, and a big pair of vise grips to hold the big punch while you wail on it with the RBFH

If it's not a rusted glob of Shitz, then an impact gun works great on the bolts and nuts, takes em' or breaks em, one way or the other.

I replaced my spring bolts and hardware a while back...  you should have seen the mess on my shop floor!   I used a blue tip wrench to get my bolts off.  (oxy-acetylene torch)

Pretty much one size fits all. The torch saves a lot of time and wasted energy. It's the way to go if you have one.
