How NOT to rig a boat, part 2! Sterling...
« on: September 21, 2011, 10:11:19 AM »
A guy on THT contacted me about what he should do with this mess THAT CAME STRAIGHT FROM THE STERLING PLANT!!!  2010 Sterling flats boat, fairly pricey...

Now is that a mess, or what!  Aaron, your boat was neat compared to that!!  The boat is now back at the plant so they can try and "clean it up".  I hope they hired a different electrician...

Well if you look on the bright side (and you should), for the price you get an "extension cord", what I'm fairly certain is a radio antenna (radio is extra) and enough speaker wire to add on, relocate or even upgrade from 5.1 to 7.1. :o

Still, some people will complain if you hang um with a new rope.

CB,
Are you talking about the yellow cable, dogboned up and taped?  That is a Garmin NMEA 2000 network cable...

Extension cord is extra...

Well kiss my grits.
I run a cord just like that every year for my Christmas lights.

Seabob,  You posted up a link to your Photobucket account and browsed your albums.  You clean up a 200 Osprey - what does something like that cost?  ... You know where my head is, right?

I do my best Aaron, thank you for the compliment.  Besides, I'm lucky enough to enjoy what I do for a living!  There are many out there that, unfortunately, can't say the same...

Well the good thing is they have enough extra wire in there to rewire it again in the future :D
