Thanks SeaBob.  I don't think that's quite right though.  The cap is attached to the insert so it is just 1 piece.  I have a picture if I could send that you privately.

I don't need a pic as I installed a ton of them while there.  I believe they were made by an outfit called King Marine, here's a link to there catalog, look on page 32, those were the one's we were using up to the time I left, 2000.  http://data.axmag.com/data/201108/U4018 ... index.html

But with the cap attached to the insert?  That's a new one on me...I would check Lee's, Attwood, Perko, Whitecap, the usual suspects...

I dont know where you are but there is a marine supply on Long Island in NY that has what you need. I buy them all the time for my 275 Explorer, they dont sell on the internet but if you call maybe they will ship them to you. The name of the place is Fred Chall the phone # is 516 868 0177. Actually, I've known about them probably longer than Mike has lived in Dix Hills!  I really wish we had somebody like them in the Tampa area.  Mahoney's just don't get it...

Freeport is better for boat hardware Fred Chall is better for outboard parts and electronics.Actually there is a place right in brooklyn 10 minutes from my boat thats been there for ever strictly old school no computers uses an old cash drawer but knows everything he has in stock and he carries a lot of stock just a little more expensive.
