Saw a video about two years ago from the the upper Mississippi river where guides are taking bow fisherman out and they're shooting the carp in mid air with bows even at night with night glowing arrows. this was serious stuff, all of them were wearing hockey goalie masks to protect their faces from these crazy Asian carp. Unbelievable footage and some great marksmanship. I had saved the link for about a year and its gone now. About the same time, The today show featured a guy on the Mississippi that was seining them and making $200K a year selling them for dog food and fertilizer.

It's funny the timing on this post.  My Boat US magazine has an article on plans to come up with ways to commercially catch and eat these fish.  Basically a form of a eating genocide LOL.  I guess they taste good but are hard to clean since they have lots of bones.
