man its hot and dry
« on: June 03, 2011, 04:35:37 PM »
Would somebody mind turning down the heat a bit and sprinkling the garden, as in the whole state of Texas
The whole state is under a burn ban and extreme fire danger alerts. Anyone know a good indian rain dance?
Gonna run an ad for indian rain dancer wanted. last rain was in march and that was minimal.  16" of rain low right now.
THE WATER IN MY POND IS SO HOT THE FISH ARE POACHED.
But you can bet your last live shrimp the hurricanes will come and change all that.

Same here.  17+" below normal, burn ban since early May, and I think everything in my pond is dead except for the turtles.  4000 acre fire this week in the county north of me.

Yep... it got too hot too quick, and its been real dry here too.  I stepped outside for a few minutes this morning and I might as well have never showered.  The thermometer in the car was reading 102degrees on the way home from work yesterday

I don't want to say any curse words here on the board, but something that rhymes with Shmobal Smorming comes to mind...
