Bowlight Bulb?
« on: April 28, 2011, 07:15:23 PM »
My old bowlight bulb succumbed to corrosion.  It's a perko light, and underneath the fixture reads "Fig7.1" (12 volt).  I pulled the bulb out and took it with me to the parts store- there were several bulbs that looked like the bulb that came out of the bowlight.  I bought some that matched... and lost them.  Does anyone know what the automotive part number is for this bulb?  Nightfishing tomorrow night.

Thanks guys  :salut:

Is this a festoon type bulb?

It appears to be a Perko 0071DP0CLR.
Ancor # 529102
T10X31
12v.  10W.  .83Amps
3/8 dia. 1 1/8" (31 mm) long

The Perko/Ancor appear "marine rated"

Some type "dome " lamp in a car.

Best I could do. :|

I was just looking at new bow navigation lights today, at Wrst Marine and at Bass Pro.
If you have 2 separate green/ red fixtures, you can buy an LED replacement set for $65 at BPS... (vertical mount type... They didn't have the deck-mounted type like I needed, but I found them online for about the same price at Jamestown Distributors). But If you have both colors in a single housing, it was even less.  I am thinking about getting new ones myself, as my lights are terribly unreliable.
