My experience has been along the lines of what Mr Jones wrote. Unlike Boston Whaler owners, older Aquasport owners don't think (for the most part) that anyone would be interested and that it's worth much. As a result it seems to be word of mouth.
I joked recently that mine was for sale. I was shocked at how many offers I got from people who've seen me in it. As we all know in here this is a great boat. Everyone I've taken fishing says the same thing, "this is a perfect setup".
I have wanted a 222 since I was 16. Funny how I wound up with a hull from when I was 16! I found mine 3 years ago in a friend's backyard. He had several boats and let this go for a very reasonable price. The AS used to be an extremely common boat here. There are 4 left that I know of. I'm the only one that hasn't done a complete rebuild. Yet.
Keep looking, you will find one. Also by letting us know what you want will give you another group of eyes.
Thehulltruth.com has a lot of boats for sale.
Classicmako.com too.
