Bottom Paint on a 98 215 Explorer
« on: March 15, 2011, 01:43:39 PM »
Hi, I'm in Souther California and put the boat in the ocean maybe 4 or 5 months a year. I want an Ablative paint that will last long.
The Interlux guy says if I take the boat out of the water for long periods of time the paint will crack and shorten the life of the job.
The Petit guy says if I use Ultima SR 60 it won't matter.

Any opinions are welcome.
Thanks

I used Petit and it sits on the trailer most of the time (too much   ) and haven't seen a problem. Been on there since the beginning of '07.
