Good morning rcoy,

I have a folding tower on my 73' 22-2 12 degree V and it works very well. Mine is a non helm spotting tower on top of the Ttop. You climb up a ladder of sorts in the front and pass through a zip out canvas area and on to the platform. I've had two mid sized females up there when running and you really don't know they are up there. The tower folds down for trailering and low bridges.

Would be fine in a 222, that's plenty of boat to handle a cobia tower.

Heck, last year down here, we had 2 guys in 14' Jon boat with a 6' step ladder lashed down with ratchet straps and a piece of plywood on top they would sit on, cruising the beach looking for cobia,
