Wow  :shock:

Bass Boats seem to be more dangerous because they really on operate in two speeds - idle, and hold on to your seat.

A guy bought a bass boat from the dealership I used to work for, and ran it wide open at night... ran into a retaining wall and died on impact.

A lot of the reason I don't want to leave the area I live in is because I'd have to learn the water all over again-  I'm still learning the water in Charleston.

Yep, and WOT, they FLY. Unfortunately, they probably hit a mostly submerged log.

Lake Norman is a big lake. I'm probably wrong (imagine that  :lol: ) but sticks in my mind it has around 550 miles of shoreline.
