yep, that was a good day, caught those out of sebastion inlet near bethel shoal :salut:
where is Nate any way?He has only one post in this thread, its like rolling a snowball down a hill, tell us you're getting a new boat and we'll tell you everything about it before its in the driveway,I really think we got it bad! :thumright:

If he's serious, he'll be back.  In the meantime, do as I do.  Relax, and enjoy the conversation... :thumleft:

Hey guys,

I'm back, and probably as boat crazy as the rest of you.  Strange turn of events sice I registered for this forum.  As I was going to drop off my check to the broker I stopped into my marina to check on a different slip for next year and get some pricing for a trailer.  Next thing I know they make me an offer on a boat that financially worked better for me.  Don't know if the boat will live up to AS quality but for the price it was the right deal for me.

I truely appreciate all the info and well wishes.  I wish you all well and safe boating!

Nate

Hey guys,

I like to check into boating sites from time to time even just to see what people are talking about.  Don't mind me if i'm snooping from time to time.

Pete,

I ended up with a '04 Trophy Pro 2103.  I could not beat the deal and do understand all of the criticism of the "Bayliner past".  I have read alot of current Trophy comments from actual owners and it appears they have improved the product since the split.  I have always liked the lines and layout and this one is in mint shape.  The AS I was going to buy was a Repo and had some major questions regarding the power and 100 gal of possible bad fuel.  The last registration sticker on it was '06.  This was a better deal for me at this time and the marina will warrantte it for 30 days.

Thanks for the nice welcome,  it was short but enjoyable! :salut:

Nate,
You might not be back, but the visit was indeed enjoyable.  Good luck with the new girl, The Trophy line has come a long way since "back in the day"...

You may want to go here, http://www.baylinerownersclub.org/forum/index.php.  A ggod bunch of guys, cater mostly to the typical BL, read that bowrider, but a good number of Trophy owners on there...
