Being kinda from Goldsboro, I could tell you some stories about Scott's BBQ and Martel Scott.  His 'que was some of "The Best Ye Ever Tasted."  The original BBQ place on William street closed years ago, but the sauce is still around and sold in grocery stores.  Classic "down east" BBQ sauce - no ketchup or tomato, just vinegar and spices - some would say the way it's supposed to be...

Well, guess I'll have to bring some of my slow smoked Memphis style BBQ to the next get-together, with my sauce... JD and Mike smelled it, but didn't hang around long enough to get some...
