went out to the reef this weekend for a couple hrs, came home with some nice Porgy, and some big grunts. I made a macadamia nut crust In the food processer, lightly brushed the filets with olive oil and salt/pepper and coated with the macadamia breading and baked in the oven. served it with a coconut rice and a peach tomato salsa... Dang!!!
I tried cooking the meat from the wings of a small stingray a few years ago. It stunk up the house so bad we threw it out and called Domino's. :puke:
Bob did the taste compare to scallops.
Cool gonna have to try it,who knows,with all the restrictions on fish these days maybe stingray will be the next great table fare fish.
