19'6" deck
« on: November 29, 2005, 01:30:59 PM »
I have a 1978 19'6" open fisherman, and I was wondering has anyone looked under the deck of one of these? I have a dry storage box that is 12" deep that I want to insert in front of the center console, but I don't know if there's foam there. Looking down from inside the bow I don't see any, but I can't completely see that far back. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I have redone my deck, and after the build in tank, ther is nothing there. Mine has foam, but that's because I put it there.

On my 19'6", the gas tank is underneath the center console and it extends a little in front and a little behind the console.

Thanks for the input; I will post pictures on the forum after I get it done. I think mine is like Scott's boat; I just hope I have enough room from the end of the gas tank to the begining of the dry storage area.

Thanks again guys :D
