New owner!!!! 250xf !!!

recently picked up a 1986 250 express fisherman with a 1999 mercury 250efi   boat runs great, will top out around 45mph. needs the interior redone, and needs a coffin cover fix. other than that its all minor stuff, like some wiring and a good buffing. and maybe a bottom painting.  i run the boat out of forked river, NJ so any other AS owners out there lemme know!! ill post some pix as soon as i figure out how,   and any 250xf tips tricks, vendors, etc that you all can teach me, the more the merrier. THANKS!!!!!!!!

Welcome Drew,
I have an 84 in cape may. Have had it for two years. Did alot of work to it, runs like a top. Plenty of fuel to get out pretty far & back with plenty of fuel to spare, been as far as 68 miles off. One thing going on this winter is hydraulic steering, should be pretty easy to do. I'll post some pictures. You should be hittin the stripers very soon, if not now. I figure two more weeks & they should be hot in south jersey.

actually Aswaff400  the seventhreeford name is for the engine in my truck 7.3L powerstroke diesel in a 2k3 F250.  (DIESEL NERD)

even better! i love the 7.3 PSD. been looking at gettin a 95 to 97 f350 psd to tow my 95 f150 around the SE and mid west once im done with the suspension work

Hi

Welcome to the 250 XF family. Nice boat You found there.

I recently repaired the rear part of the coffincover. I eliminated all the srewholes as water broke in there and the cover remains perfectly fixed with the sealant.
