BOMAR HATCH HELP
« on: September 05, 2010, 05:14:34 AM »
2002, 215 EXPLORER.

The hatch for the cuddy is in bad shape, but trying to keep it alive so I don't have to replace it.

The 2 parts that are damadged are the lever that holds it open and the plastic hindge things.  I can probably make something work for the lever that holds it open, as I have sem parts in West marine catalog and others that can be "customized".  The hindge is not going to be that easy, one 1/2 of it is shattered while the other 1/2 hindge is still in place.  Problem is when you try to use anything to keep the hatch open, it has only 2 supports, the good hindge and the lever creating an unstable connection.  Does anyone know if that hindge part is avialbale for replacemete anywhere?

Thanks Guys, Marc
