Only in SC - tax free gun days
« on: August 04, 2010, 05:48:07 PM »
Tax-free back-to-school days just are not enough!  South Carolina now has the Second Amendment Sales Tax Holiday in the 2010-2011 State Appropriations Act. This is a two-day sales tax holiday which applies to purchases of handguns, rifles and shotguns.     Obviously, the NRA loves it   and anti-gun folks hate it.   :x

The tax-free gun days will take place after Thanksgiving on Friday, Nov. 26 and Saturday, Nov. 27 - too late to bag your Thanksgiving turkey, but in plenty of time to bag that Christmas goose or deer... :rendeer:   My advice - if you live in South Carolina, you might want to stay indoors the Sunday after  Thanksgiving...   :thumleft:
