This is in the rod holders panel that are starting to happen

Vacu-formed rod pocket, right in the corner...the weakest spot.   I'd take some clay and conform it to the inside of the corner of the pocket.  Melt some PVC to cover the hole and then some on the back side.  Pull the clay out.  You'll see the edges of the repair, but you have a uniform surface and no hole...

i got the same problem with mine, i hate those damn inserts poor design in my opinion, i recently i repainted mine, but next year im going to make that storage and have a fold down hatch made out of starboard with a piano hinge.
