I can't get that spec. sheet to open. Can someone tell me for sure what the beam is? Weight? Etc.? Thanks. Steve  Kingsteven18@yahoo.com

What you are describing was called the 250 Express Fisherman (it was 26 feet four inches including the pulpit). It had an 8 foot beam and the hull draft was 12 inches and transom height was 25 inches with a deadrise of 19 degrees.  Max horsepower was 300 and it came with a 120 gallon gas tank. Approximate dry weight was 2900 lbs and max capacity was 2250 lbs.

This is the boat that I bought. The ad says 10' beam and 10.6' beam in two different places. I'm trying to find out for sure as I would need oversize towing permits. Do you have a picture/spec sheet so we can be absolutely sure? Thank you so much for your help. Steve . http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... AMEWN%3AIT

I have posted an old brochure in the photo gallery of the site and it has a page dedicated to your boat.  Cut and paste this url into your browser address window - it's easier this way than having you search around in the photo gallery for now.  When you have time, though, do look through. There is lots of information and great rebuild photos.

And, as you will see, the beam is 8 feet, not 10 or 10' 6".  Good news for your trailering.

I don't think that's a 10' beam.  8' or 8'6", yes, but I'm pretty sure it's not a 10'.

I have a buddy who has a 25 family fisherman and I think he told me it has a 9'6" beam (maybe it was 96"?).  Maybe they changed depending on the year? I'm going to see him in the next week or 2 and will ask for sure.  We can measure it too.  Been trying to get him to visit this site - he used to work at Wellcraft in Bradenton when AS was brought there and bought his boat through the company.

To follow up: I checked with my buddy today and he said the 25 FF/AS he bought was only built for 2 years (92-94) in Bradenton and the beam is 9'6".
