listing problem
« on: July 10, 2010, 04:42:33 PM »
Got my list squared away on my 215 Osp. Sport.  There was no water in any compartments.  The boat was dry.  I split up my batteries;  one to port.  I moved the starboard one towards the engine and put the other against the starboard wall with my VRO tank closer to the engine.  Ran into a problem with the bilge outlet tho.  The bat and the VRO tank would not fit unless I put an elbow on the thru-hull fitting and loop the hose behind my port rodholer with a straight extension on the hose.   For some reason,  the bilge pump would lose its prime and stop pumping water until I gave it a shot from the garden hose back into the hull fitting.  Corrected this by running a 13" straight pipe between the hose and elbow.  Everything is fine now and also piece of mind knowing there was no trapped water.  housedocter
