Welcome aboard :!: :!:
The 191 is a different hull then all the other models. Where a normal boat goes from strake or chine to the keel, the 191 has an inverse strake right at before the keel giving it almost a "pad". We have plenty of pics on the site of 191s. Do a search. Once you see one from the rear you'll never forget what they look like.

Flatback..One size only
Not a flatback.
Should be an interesting project.
Good luck.

I'm not sure we've seen a rebuilt 191. There have been a few here over the years that needed a redo, but none finished, that I remember. This is a rare model, only made for a couple years.
Not a flatback, more a modified V. Not sure what they were trying to accomplish with this modification.
The wood needs to come out though, so this will be a total gut. It will give you a chance to raise the freeboard a couple inches to allow good drainage and build the boat with amenities that you want.

still workin on mine...so heres a before pic, just as it came from the factory (except the homemade bow pulpit & a few rod holders).
No access to get under the deck at all, you can just barely see the control cables running under the cap on the right.
