Put Slik-Sticks on your bunks and the boat will slide right off! I actually was in a boat that came off the trailer on a steep ramp on Lake Marion, SC. We usually unhooked the winch, my buddy would back the boat down, I would start the engine and back off, then he would pull the truck out. However... we found our plan was a little flawed on a steep ramp - it was just about like the video, except imagine you were in the boat. So now I keep the hook on the bow cleat until the boat's in the water, then take it loose and back her off.
