Ok just got word Waukegan harbor is ice free, no perch a few browns near discharge plant, water temp a comfy 33.1 f. Goin fishin Sunday. drained tank, removed 16 gallons of vintage 2005 87 oct. fuel. Will use it in International B414 that thing will run on vinegar. Replaced battery, fuel lines, rebuilt carbs, installed new fuel filter, spark plugs, impellor, serviced lower unit, test ran on muffs. Have flair gun and smoke signals. What am I missing? Plug is in boat, bearings repacked, new tires on trailer, new cooler seat with 24 pac MGD, loaded. Hope she remebers how to float, its been a few years. This is gunna b an  awesome trip. :

What the heck is a International B414 tractor? My 63` International Cub runs on vinegar, ethenol, kerosene, coleman fuel and three hellmarys and pulls my 222 around the compound! By the way, it sounds like the boat is ready too!! I`m up in Grand Haven, Michigan several times a year for business and  steelhead fishing, just a 60 mile ride across. I`ll meet you at Jack`s Holiday Inn at the mouth of the Grand River for cocktails  and swapping AS stories in August!!!

Hey Polski, Good luck this weekend. I hope you nail a few browns!

I would add a VHS radio when you get a chance. Cell phone should be OK early in the season working close to shore.

i plan on taking my AS out tomorrow afternoon, leaving it in the water at my work for the week to do some much needed work on the trailer(and gives me an excuse to use the boat every day)
