Gonna be a "watch old reruns" day.

We took the " new " 175 out for her second trial run yesterday (1-29 ) for a couple of hours in south sarasota bay . It was a little breezy ,but fished the lee shore and caught 9 trout and 2 big ladyfish. We must have hit the right timing on pre -front weather . The boat ran so sweet , I think it has a smoother ride than my old 19' 6 .. Sorry to rub it in to you guys wading in the snow .

Must be a day for trout landed 5 in the slot and dozen or so mackerel can somebady say smoke fish dip and fish tacos 8)

Woody were you by blackburn point around 4 pm, i might have saw you.

I was fishing the flat northwest  of the bridge.

I was in my little panga boat.

Must have been me . We were fishing the flats northeast of the bridge.We drifted that side several times . I don't remember a panga ,but we were pretty busy . Left there between 3:30 and 4;00 ,went to midnight pass and walked the beach for a while.  Next time give me shout and we can trade fish tales..

Hey Woody, we were having this talk about the best engine for that boat, I see that you have a 2 stroke 90hp yami on her, what kind of performance do you get with that engine ? Also notice that your scuppers are above the water line . Nice boat

Hey Marc , I just put this package together in the last couple of months and only the second trip out. The little yam only weighs 260 lbs or so. I can only get about 34 mph out of her but the prop is alum , not ss and is a little dinged up . I don't even know what the pitch is . Gotta have some advice on what I need . She seems to be real good on gas . don't have any numbers , but sure beats the 200 merc  on the old 19-6 . I do have a doel fin on it .gets up on plane pretty quick but I've heard that I'll lose some top end with the fin . I'm happy with the setup tho....Thanks for the comments.

Turtle Beach - nice place to put in, especially since they dredged it all the way out a couple years ago.

Bet it was pretty windy out there - was at my house 8 miles inland.
