250 CCP Rewire
« on: January 31, 2010, 09:16:59 PM »
Well, today was the last day of the Grouper season until April 1 in the Gulf.  I promised myself when I bought my CCP back in April that I'd do a full rewire and clear up the rat's nest of wires under the console.  I started gutting out the wiring today and will be making some changes to the console.  I'm getting rid of the stock switch panel above the glove box and replacing it with an 8-switch Blue Sea Systems Contura panel that will mount high and centered.  I'm using King starboard to fill in the hole where the stock switch panel was and I'm moving my secondardy gauges (fuel, volts, oil, etc.) to that location.

Will post some pics along the way.  If anyone has any helpful hints, do's or dont's, send 'em along.
