215 Explorer. Draft question

Have a 1998 215 explorer with a 200 evenrude how much water does it need with motor up and how much with motor down. Thankyou

My generic AS manual says 33" down but doesn't list the draft with the motor up.

The info i have is 16'' engine up 29" down that should be close to what you have.

The 1997 catalog list the draft for the 215 Ex as 33" with motor down (pg 12)
As CD stated above, no mention (as in past brochures) of draft with motor tilted up.

CH's draft comes straight from the same catalog, next page over (pg 10)

Misprint or just a weight challenged hull design. :scratch:
If you're lookin' to do some bone fishing, I would suggest a FB. :idea:

Not that it matters but I like the 225 model as the best proportioned of the EX series (Gen II 1995-2005).

210 and 230s (Gen II 1991-1993s) look good also :wink:
