I don't know Rick.  I searched here with no results for www.bestboatwire.com and have always recommended them.  Through hearsay I heard that they have temporarily stopped taking orders.  I heard recently that they are in Canada and only have a warehouse in Ft. Lauderdale.  Pacer is in Sarasota and actually makes some of the wire and cable there.  Keep the $$ at home ;)

I never hurts to have a backup source.

I bought some wire from "best" after you posted the original - it was good stuff.

I totally agree about keeping the money here, especially local.

http://www.pacermarine.com seems to be pretty pricey.
I bought 2-100' rolls of 16/2 marine flat wire for $59 total from BestBoatWire a couple years ago.  Now I see that it would be about $90 through "GenuineDealz" (Copper went up)
Pacermarine would be double that if I'm reading the price list right

Now where is my wire stretcher  :geek:

Dammit, everytime I go to the tool crib, the wire stretcher and the deck stretcher are "checked out"...and when I go to get a bucket of "prop wash"... well, dammit!
