Fuel tank Size
« on: August 31, 2009, 02:28:13 PM »
Hello,
Just joined the forum, and just purchased a 97' 245 Osprey.  The owner did not know the size of the fuel cell, I am going to be doing some rehab on the boat including swapping my current power from my Chris Craft WA Cuddy, and would like to know approximately how many gallons the tank holds to help determine my range?
Thanks
Marc

Welcome aboard! I've been reading your posts on the other forums and saw where some one recommended joining here. After I saw the other post I looked this morning for any info on your hull and didn't find any, or brochures either. I don't know the size but I'm sure there will someone who does. The main thing be patient, there's not a lot of traffic on here but there are really knowledgeable folks who I have found to be more than willing to help with just about any question I've come up with.

Well, I check every night!  :P

Anyway, the 245 has a 141 gallon tank, aluminum.
