I am looking to purchase a
1987 Aquasport 281 SFF
. The boat is a single screw inboard 454 Mercruiser. I am looking to find any info I can about this boat, but so far nothing. It seems to be a bit of an odd duck, but has beautiful lines. Can anyone provide info or direct me as to where I can get some? Thank you.

Here is a
link
to a brochure on 86/87 models. You can look around from there. I remember a Cabo model around 281 but not sure of a SFF. FF would indicate a Family Fishermen and I don't think they were built in that year.

Rickk,
Do you know if it possible to be a different year? I haven't seen the HID# yet. If this brochure is for 86/87 and that isn't listed, that makes it all the more strange. It does look very much like a 290 XF, however. Thanks for the info.

OK, everyone, they say the first step to sanity is admitting your faults, well here it is. The boat is a 281 FF, I don't know where I came up with the SFF, but I did. Can you help me now?

Lets ask hmcboat.
Liz, I realize this year boat is before your dealership time but do you have any info on the years the Cabo was built? Or the 281 size at least? Or know anyone that was a longtime dealer that might be able to help us here?
