When looking at a brochure in the photo gallery section on thr site, I noticed that the 170 Osprey that I assumed to be the same year as my boat (or of a year close to my boat since every other aspect of both boats were the same except for the railng) did not have any bow railings.
On my 84' 170 Osprey, the boat came with a railing that started on the gunwhale and connected in a squared of section on the bow so you have to duck under the railing to reach the cleet. Unlike if you have a railng that you might say makes a V-shape so it almost is correspondent to each side of the boat till it meets at the bow. I'm just wondering if my boat should have a railing at all, the railng is origanal, or it is an aftermarket railng put on by the owner.
I know it is easier to see a picture of the actual railng than a lengthy description of it but right now I'm not able to do so. Any input is great, Thank You.
