Aquasport 84 21 CC

Hello,
Great site you guys have here. I have owned several boats, Lema 18, Hydrasports 25, Seacraft 23,  Ros 30 (downeast boat),  and a classic 17 aqasport. I have been in lots of others.

I am looking at a 84 aquasport with a 95 200 merc on it. The boat is clean with a replaced fuel tank in 2005. Its a good deal price wise. I just need some help with the 21, Was it a good running hull? Is there any problems with that year and size that I should look for and be aware of?  How does it compare to the 22 CC? Also does anyone have any idea how efficiant these combo or ineffficiant it would be to run? Not sure why they made a 21 CC and a 22 CC at the same time. So, please let me know anything you can about this 21 hull as I have n experince with it and I cant find any info on it.

If you're sure it is a Center Console then it is more than likely a 200 Osprey or CCP. 21 is not a normal size for this line.

Thats what I was thinking. I need to get a better look at it but its 2 hours away. I am waiting on better pictures. If they didnt make a 21 in 84 I am assuming that its a 22 not a 20. Then again maybe he has the build date wrong. It was the gentlemens dads boat so He isnt sure of the length. His dad passed away.

UPDATE:Just got off the phone with the son. He walked it out and that is where he got the 21 length. He said it has the coffin box up front and the bow floor is flat all the way to the bow. Im psyched as this means its a 84 build....22fter...Should be a sweet boat!!

So what does everyone think of an 1984 22?

 Sounds like a CCP but it could be a 20' or a 222. They made both in 84.

OK boat as boats go.

Ditto on what Bob said - CCP model.  Depends on where he started the walk - at the motor or the transom.  Either way it's a great boat - 20 or 22.

No it's true.
Compared to many modern craft and even contemporary boats (same era), it fits into a middle tier vessel quite well. Some are much better while others are a lot worse.
As far as the model goes, I do like my CCP but I've owned three Aquas (favorite being  the 170) so that statement is biased.
