Hydraulic Trim Tabs

Does anyone know where the pump is for a 88 250 Express?  Our tabs arnt working and we are going to try to trouble shoot them but im not sure where the pump is.

Mine is near the stern but they were aftermarket ,It was next to the wash down pump

If they are Bennett tabs, there should be an orange wire feeding the switch assembly. On this wire there is a black fuse holder. Check for a blown fuse and/or corrosion. Also check the harness plug at the pump. If nothing (pump or solenoids) works it's power or ground. You can jump the motor with 12 volts to test as well as the solenoids. You don't have an oil leak do you?
