Newbie w/ pics of the new addition
« on: January 12, 2009, 02:36:32 PM »
Thanks to everyone for all the great information on the site!  I was told that this was an 1986 aquasport, model unkown...The metal plate on the transom is worn to the point that you can only read the first few letters (ASP I think..)  I still have to try to clean it up in the chance I will be able to read the rest.  She is a real solid boat but needs some minor cosmetics and elbow grease,  Any input on what model this is and any tips as to where to start restoring her from here would be greatly appreciated?  Thanks!!

Welcome aboard aqua719  :!:  :!:
The Osprey model has the casting deck in the front.  What size is it - looks to be a 196 or 200?

I haven't measured it, but was told it is 19'6" without the motor.

The transom tag reads -- ASPE2887M80H.  or at least that's what it looks like.  What can that tell me about the boat?

http://www.classicaquasport.com/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2527 - try this.  There is a ton of answers already in the resources forum when you get a chance.
