2000 175 Osprey newbie
« on: January 23, 2009, 08:11:33 AM »
First of all I'm glad I found this site,  I am a new owner of a 2000 175 Osprey and I love the boat it's powered by a 90 hp. Johnson OceanPro.  I am in need of the tournament master decal and also the 175 Osprey decal.   My boat also does not have the front console seat back rest.  Are these items that I should just go to a local shop and have made or is there somewhere better?  Also I do all my boating in Lake St. Clair Michigan and I was told that maybe I would be better off taking of my oil injection system and just mix with gas because of the cold wether the oil may become to thick to pump to the motor anybody with info that can help me out I appreciate it.  I looked for a center console for over a year looked at alot of whaler's etc. but decided to go with the AS my brother-in-law had a older 170 and then a 222 with twin's so I was fimiliar with AS but was not looking to get one and then this one became available and I'm so glad I purchased it. :thumright:

Unfortunately you'll more than likely have to Google the aquasport decals (badges) to find them - you'll also likely find some on eBay.

You talking about the backrest below the windscreen?  Post some pics so we know what you're talking about.

I'll leave this to someone that lives up in your neck of the woods.

Islandmon,
So, seeing your need tor "Tournament Master" badging, I gave Wellcraft/AS CS a call this afternoon.  I was re-routed to Four Winns CS (where Wellcrafts are being built now), left a message, but no return phone call.  Chances are you "decals" are still available from Wellcraft CS, but they may be on 4 day work weeks, which would explain no call back.

If you want to give it a try on Monday, The number is (941) 753-7811.  When you press 2 for customer service, you will be connected to Four Winns.  Don't be surprised.  It's all owned by Genmar.

Great little boat you got there.  What color hull?

Thanks for the info!  As far as color it's white with the gold and black water line stripe.  I'll post a pic when I have some time to figure it out.

If your familiar with Photobucket and posting links, you can always go that route.
