Bimini top
« on: March 27, 2009, 11:37:22 AM »
Looking to add a bimini top to my 200CCP and wasn't sure which way to go.  I see a few of you have them on your CCPs an was curious what height frames you used.  3 bow or 4 bow.  Thanks for the input.

I have a 3 bow on my 200CC.  It is enough to cover the Console front seat and back.  It folds back so as to leave room to fish in the front.  I also have 2 support poles in the back instead of straps so it is in a partly raised position.   Still gets in the way though.  I think Cabelas carries a slide track so when the bimini is lowered you can slide it ALL the way to the stern.  I take it off in the spring and only put it on when the hot weather arrives.   All in all it is a cheaper alternative to a T-Top.  $300 to 400 as opposed to maybe $1500+ for T-Top.
