looking for information

1970's (early ) Aquasport Cathedral Hull. 17 feet in length. It was a model Xsld by Aquasport is what I could make out on the side emblems. They were partially broken on both port and starboard of the boat.
This boat is built like a brick shXX-house and roomy like no other for its size.
I am helping a friend out with it and told him I would try and research it.

Any help will be appreciated
Thx
jim

Mr Boat Guy,
There is something on this site that refers to the hull you are talking about. I've tried a search but can't remember what forum it's under. I seem to remember that the thread title had something to do about a "classic" but I could be wrong. There was a discussion on the hull with at least some info, though not a lot. I still believe I can find it, but probably not tonight.
Maybe someone else remembers.

The boat was sitting out of the water along a canal. It was old but in fair shape. The emblem on the hull was X something.

I'll look more tomorrow or maybe someone else will step in with some info.

There was the Xscape models of the early 80's. Probably from around that time period. Take some pics, I've never seen an aquasport model like you describe. Im guessing it is modeled after a texas sled???
