So winter comes along, my motor has made it through yet another season (specs are in my signature) so I figure it is time to do any small repairs then winterize it.
It runs well but I am not afraid to do some tweaking to the engine. It already looks nice and sleek but I am wondering if there is any way I could reduce vibrations and shaking. I know that factually, old motors shake around, but is there anything I can do to reduce that?
Also, it is somewhat loud, any way I can quiet the old thing down a bit? I dont mind how it sounds at high RPMs, but it seems somewhat loud whilst idling. ( I have set it to Idle around 1,000 RPM to ensure easier start ups and a cleaner sounding Idle)
And yes I know this can all be remedied by buying a new motor, but this one still works so might as well make the best of it!
