Non Skid color change

I am thinking about changing the color of the factory diamond cut non skid on my deck, looking for good quality paint and some thought on procedure. Thanks in advance for your help :idea:

You mean the pre-textured non skid - perfect pattern, right?

I *think* that is really tough... because you will have a hard time getting the pattern right.  If I were to attack that, I would probably use something like a wire wheel to rough up the non skid, then apply something over it.  I have used Kiwi-Grip with good results - you might try that.  Can you post some pictures?

I want to change the color of my non-skid too (for some reason, the guys building aquasports in the 70's thought urine-yellow would be a good color).  I've asked a lot of folks in the boat-building business, and the most common answer I get is to use gelcoat.  Gelcoat is available in a few different colors, but white is the most common/cheapest and should be available at places like Boater's World.  I've been told all that needs to be done is a very good detailing (cleaning) of the floor/nonskid, and a slight ruffing up on the floor with some 180G sandpaper, then roll it on.  Of course you have to tape off some things, but that's a given.
