Hey everyone.  I'm the new guy that just bought a 1997 20ft Osprey.  I was originally looking for a owners manual but I have bigger problems now.  

I took the boat to the mechanic cause I was having problems with the boat cutting off during low and idle speeds.  Come to find out that the 115hp Johnson had piston damage and needed to be rebuilt.  I confirmed the damage and decided to have it rebuilt at J&B Boat Sales, Westville NJ unless I can find a GOOD used engine.  I would only buy another 115 hp if it were newer but I would love to find a decent used 150hp, since I've been told the boat's a little underpowered.  Either way, I only have about $4000.00 to spend.  I plan to have the engine rebuilt in the next couple of weeks so if anybody sees something interesting in my area, please let me know.  Oh yeah, I live in the South Jersey area

check craigslist. ive found some amazing deals on there lately.

i picked up my boat for $1500 last week.  needs a little tlc, but a great deal nonetheless i think.
