Yeah I was surprised, the other hull I have is in better shape than this one.

Well the topdeck is off and the casting deck is out. I recored the front deck section today and the section of the casting deck that was Balsa.
Here are a few shots.







Also I was a little supprised to see this, they used a plastic water fitting for fuel fill.


I guess that it was fine it lasted 32 years, but it is not going back in.

Mine was like that too.  Never gave it a thought.

Same here on my '73 22-2. Hasnt given me any problems... I assume the manufacturer used it to save a couple $$$

Well another deck and transom job came in so I off mine for a week or 2.
It's a 25' C-Hawk 1983 that belongs to Bonuscheck Charters
