Yeah, my inlaws were trying to check on their boats in Cape May. They said they could not even force open the car door to get out. They had to pull behind a building and still could not get to the boats. They were pretty well prepared and the wind direction was not so bad on their boats except for the really high tide. The old bilge pump could not keep up with mother nature during last weeks NorEastern Storm that slammed Jersey. Sorry to say she filled up and capsized at the dock. The ropes broke as well. I will try and post some pictures soon. We rightsided her up, pumped her out and pulled her out and immediatley went to work on the engine. In about 3 hours we had her running. Everything electrical has to be replaced as well as a repair to the hull that is fixable. A three inch gash through the bottom while she was pounding around during the storm. The winds were so strong you could not even stand on the dock. I guess we are back to square one/starting over on rebuilds. :(
