Mine is on the left upper corner of the stern, just below the rubrail.
19.6 CC, T-Top, 115 HP Johnson 4 stroke, Continental All. Float on.

I believe all boats were required to have the HIN affixed to the transom after 1973.  Not positive on the year but somewhere around there.  On most boats I've seen the HIN is stamped into a stainless steel tag on the outside of transom on starboard side.

Looked for the Plate, its gone.  There was some repair work done in the area.  It was probally removed.

Mine is an 88, when I took the rub rail off there was one behind it on the port side about two or three feet from the back .I guess if it was stolen and the original was changed you could indentify it.
