I acually looked into getting a sabalo before i found my flatback. I talked with the owner a couple times. He's a real nice guy and his boats are good, but i figured i would rather have the older boat and be able to redo the inside the way i wanted.

I can't remember what the price new was, but i've seen used outboard ones in the $20,000-$30,000 range. Theres some diesel inboard 22 footers around also, don't know what they're selling for though.

Sabalo makes a fine boat.  Some would say there is little freeboard towards the stern, but, who cares.  Mighty fine boats.

Nice boats, kind of basic, great hull for flats, not as much freeboard as an aquasport but can be had new for around 30k boat motor trailer for the 22'. You can swing by the shop on ulmerton road and see how they are built, guys name is Wayne. Very easy to deal with.
