Flush hatch latches

What are you all using for flush mount latches on your deck hatches?

I'm thinking about these, anyone have experience with these? Do they fade or corrode?

I try to stay away from plastic whenever possible.

There are also some nicer "dog" style latches around...

I did some searching and found on Ebay some SS latches (Latch-Tite Flush Mount Hatch Latch - NEW - #002089).  I ordered one just to see what they are like and I think I'm going to go with these.  The posting has 62 available and they are only $16 each plus shipping.

We are mounting those right now on our 222.  I just made a new post with pictures.  they are sharp  :)
