Finished Project Pages?
« on: November 30, 2007, 11:29:46 AM »
So this is semi-self serving (although mine is not done yet)... but wondering if there is a point in having a finished projects page similar to what is on classicmako.com?  Seems like it might be cool to have one place to go and retrace some of the total rebuilds / refurbs that have taken place... instead of searching through old threads later on?

I like the idea.

(But are they ever totally finished?)

There is a place, a folder named "Pride and Joy".  That is where you want to post a few finished pix.
Unfortunately, some people post ALL their pix there      (and to be fair, I think it is because they don't understand where to put them)

I've been moving some of the uploads to the member galleries and trying to clean that up without breaking some of the links to existing posts.

I understand that's a folder, but I was suggesting it might be a separate page with a list of examples.  I would set it up as an admin page that way you control what goes up (so you don't get someone who spray painted their boat with a can as an example).

Could put James C's boat there, would like to get some shots of Patton's boat too... etc.
