Under Gunnel/liner Rod holder tubes - 1976 19-6
« on: October 27, 2007, 11:31:05 AM »
My 1977 19-6 has 3 horizontal rod holders on each side - with holes cut out of the liner to let the top of the rod slide up inside the space between the hull and the liner.  The reel end sits on classic wood cut-outs.

The fittings and tubes have falen apart, so now the rods just chafe up inside the tube holes.

Anyone know where I could find some tubes with a flange on them?  I was thnking of doing it with some PVC piping, but want a nice shaped flange to finsh it off.

Hey Fox, any way you can post some pix so we can see what you're trying to explain a little better?
