Phil,
I emailed you on 4/1/2009 and 5/4/2009 and did not hear back from you on either email.
Today is 5/18/2009
The email from 5/4/2009 was stating that when I placed the tank in the boat and filled it half way with fuel the gauge only showed about 1/8 a tank.
After fully filling it, it finally bounced up to the full mark.
My first trip out with the tank everything seemed to be working okay until about half way through the day the tank dropped down to show empty.
I re-filled the tank and the needle didn't move.
I thought it might have been a grounding issue, but I was able to rule that out. When removing the ground the needle dropped completely, when I re-attached the ground, the needle jumped back to Empty.
It appears the float broke the first time of use (and stuck before that). Do you have any further suggestions or is it just a faulty float?
Thank you,
-Scott
