aquasport vs. proline

i have been looking at the 222 1970 aquasport and just came across a 21 proline 1979 what are the pro's and con's?

If the name doesn't start with Aqua and end with Sport, well... it just isn't an Aquasport :wink:
The differences are probably for the most part, preference.

I don't know a whole lot about the 21... I am fairly familiar with the 24.  The 24 hull is basically a 222 extended 2 feet.  I think the 21 might be similar also... no deadrise, similar shear line...  I like my AS, but Prolines also make for good bay boats.

No comparison at all between AS and early prolines.  The prolines were a really cheap boat early on but were vastly improved as the years passed by.  Early prolines were about as thin as oil cans if you're old enough to remember them. If you pressed on the sides you could see them flex a lot because they we so thin.  Wood everywhere.  Check it out if it's an older one.  The above is just my opnion.

Isnt the beam narrower on the proline?
